National IT Asset Disposal and E-Waste Collection

ITC Asset Management provides national IT asset disposal and interstate e-waste collection for business. We are based in Sydney and run scheduled collections Australia wide, including Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra. For larger jobs our own team travels to site, and smaller loads move by secure freight, every device tracked under documented chain of custody, wiped to the NIST 800-88 standard or destroyed, with a certificate issued for each unit.

Australia Coverage

In short: ITC Asset Management provides national IT asset disposal and interstate e-waste collection for business. We are based in Sydney and run scheduled collections Australia wide, including Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra and regional centres. For larger jobs our own team travels to site. Smaller loads move by secure freight under documented chain of custody. Every data bearing device is wiped to the NIST 800-88 standard or destroyed, with a certificate issued for each unit and recycling carried out in line with the AS/NZS 5377 standard.

Australia wide IT asset disposal for business

When an organisation retires computers, servers, laptops or storage, the equipment often sits across several states. ITC provides a single national IT asset disposal service so head office can manage the whole process through one provider, with consistent documentation and one point of contact, rather than coordinating a different recycler in every city.

We handle the logistics, the data destruction and the recycling, then return one consolidated set of certificates and an asset report covering every site. That matters most for businesses with offices, branches or warehouses in more than one capital.

How interstate collection works

For larger jobs our own team travels to your site to pack, log and remove equipment under direct chain of custody. For smaller interstate loads we arrange secure freight with tracking, so the equipment stays accounted for from pickup to processing.

Interstate collection is available for jobs of any size by arrangement. Because travel and freight carry a cost, we will confirm the most practical option for your volume and location when you request a quote.

Data security does not stop at the state border

Certified data destruction

Drives are wiped to the NIST 800-88 standard using Blancco, or physically destroyed. Each device is recorded by serial number and covered by a certificate.

Privacy Act exposure

Serious or repeated data breaches carry penalties of up to 50 million dollars under the Privacy Act. A retired laptop in another state holds the same risk as one in your head office.

Documented chain of custody

Every collection is tracked from pickup to final processing, so you can show where each asset went and how its data was handled.

Our national process

1
Scope and quote
Tell us what you have and where. We confirm volumes, locations and the best collection method for each site.
2
Collection or freight
Our team attends larger sites in person. Smaller interstate loads move by secure, tracked freight.
3
Data destruction
Drives are wiped to the NIST 800-88 standard or destroyed, recorded by serial number.
4
Reuse and recycling
Working assets are remarketed where suitable. The rest is recycled in line with the AS/NZS 5377 standard.
5
Reporting
You receive one consolidated set of certificates and an asset report covering every location.
6
Buyback where there is value
Where retired equipment still has resale value, that value can be offset against the cost of the job.

Why businesses use one national provider

One provider, every state

Manage disposal for all your sites through a single contract and contact, instead of a separate recycler in each city.

Consistent compliance

The same certified data destruction and the same documentation apply to every site, so your records are uniform.

ISO certified

ITC holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certification.

Environmental record

Australians generate around 20 kilograms of e-waste each per year. Reuse and certified recycling keep retired IT out of landfill.

National IT asset disposal: frequently asked questions

Do you really collect from Perth and other states, or only Sydney?
We are based in Sydney and provide interstate collection across Australia, including Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra. For larger jobs our own team travels to site. For smaller loads we arrange secure, tracked freight. The right method depends on your volume and location, which we confirm at quote stage.
Is there a minimum job size for interstate collection?
Interstate collection is available for jobs of any size by arrangement. Because interstate travel and freight carry a cost, very small jobs may be handled by secure freight rather than an on site visit. Tell us what you have and where, and we will recommend the most practical option.
How is our data protected when equipment leaves our state?
Every collection is tracked under documented chain of custody from pickup to final processing. Data bearing devices are wiped to the NIST 800-88 standard using Blancco, or physically destroyed, and each device is recorded by serial number with a certificate issued.
Can we manage all our national sites through one provider?
Yes. You can manage disposal for every site through a single point of contact and receive one consolidated set of certificates and an asset report covering all locations, rather than coordinating a separate recycler in each city.
What happens to the equipment after collection?
Working assets are assessed for reuse and remarketing where suitable, which can offset the cost of the job. Equipment that cannot be reused is recycled in line with the AS/NZS 5377 standard so that materials are recovered and kept out of landfill.
