Every data-bearing device is wiped using Blancco Drive Eraser to the NIST 800-88 Purge standard, with results logged against the device serial number. For information classified above the threshold for software erasure, we provide physical destruction by shredding or degaussing. All work is performed under our ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified Information Security Management System, by ITC employees rather than subcontractors, with documented chain of custody from collection to destruction.

Yes. Our mobile service brings Blancco erasure stations, hard drive shredding equipment, and degaussers to your premises. Under Australian Privacy Principle 11.2, organisations must take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify personal information no longer needed. Under APRA CPS 234, regulated entities must maintain information security controls across the full asset lifecycle, including secure decommissioning. ITC's documented chain of custody, ISO 27001 certified erasure, and serialised Certificates of Destruction provide the evidence both obligations require during an audit or breach investigation.

We accept all categories of commercial IT and electronic equipment, including laptops, desktops, servers and networking hardware, mobile devices, printers and copiers, monitors and TVs, UPS systems and batteries, cables and peripherals, and specialised equipment such as POS terminals and medical devices.

Standard Sydney metropolitan collections are typically scheduled within 3 to 5 business days from quote acceptance. Urgent collections including same-week data centre decommissioning can usually be accommodated subject to capacity. NSW regional and Greater NSW collections are scheduled by route.

Assets are returned to our North Rocks facility under documented chain of custody, logged by serial number, photographed, tested, and classified for reuse, repair, or recycling. Functional devices are wiped and remarketed through our resale channels. Non-functional devices and components are streamed to certified downstream processors under AS 5377. You receive a final disposition report identifying the outcome for each serial number.
