ITC buys business laptop fleets in bulk. Send us your asset list and we return a guaranteed valuation within two business days, covering every device in one quote. If you accept, our team collects from your site, sanitises every laptop to NIST 800-88 guidelines with an individual Certificate of Data Destruction, and pays the agreed amount. No per-unit deductions at collection, no adjustments after the fact.
Most fleet laptop buyback programmes fail in one of two places: the valuation changes once devices arrive at the buyer's warehouse, or the data sanitisation paperwork is too thin for an audit. ITC addresses both. Your price is guaranteed before we collect. Every drive is sanitised under our ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified information security management system, and you receive a certificate per serial number, not per batch. For business volumes, collection across the Sydney metropolitan area is free. We fly to Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Darwin, and Hobart for qualifying fleet sizes.
ITC processes laptop buyback engagements from 20 devices upward. There is no upper limit. Whether you are refreshing a single department or decommissioning an entire national fleet, the process scales without adding complexity on your side.
A typical department refresh. Single collection visit, valuation returned within two business days, payment on completion.
Office-wide or branch refresh. Scheduled collection across one or two days. Individual serial-number tracking and per-device certificates.
Multi-site or national fleet turnover. Staged collections coordinated with your IT team. Detailed asset register returned post-processing.
Enterprise-scale fleet retirement. Dedicated project coordination, phased collection schedule aligned with your rollout, and a single consolidated report covering every serial number.
Business-grade laptops under four years old return the strongest buyback value. Consumer models, heavily damaged units, and devices older than six years are accepted but typically processed for certified recycling rather than resale.
Latitude 5000, 7000, and 9000 series. Dell Latitude is the most commonly refreshed business laptop in Australia and consistently returns strong buyback value.
EliteBook 800, 840, and 860 series, plus HP ProBook for mid-tier fleets. HP business laptops hold resale demand across enterprise and education sectors.
ThinkPad T, X, and L series. ThinkPad keyboards and build quality sustain resale demand longer than most business lines.
MacBook Pro and MacBook Air fleets. Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3) models hold the highest per-unit buyback value of any laptop category. Intel models accepted at adjusted pricing.
Surface Laptop and Surface Pro fleets. Corporate-managed Surface devices with business-grade specs retain solid resale value.
Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Acer Chromebooks from education and enterprise deployments. Auto Update Expiration (AUE) date determines residual value.
Six factors determine your fleet's buyback price. Understanding them helps you time the refresh for the strongest return.
Laptops under three years old return the highest value. Each generation step down reduces the price. A fleet of 100 two-year-old Latitudes is worth materially more than the same fleet at four years.
Processor generation, RAM, and storage size affect per-unit pricing. An i7/16GB/512GB configuration returns more than an i5/8GB/256GB of the same model and age.
Light wear is expected in a business fleet. Cracked screens, missing keys, and dented chassis reduce per-unit value or move devices to the recycling stream.
Devices that power on and function normally command full value. Non-booting units, swollen batteries, and failed displays are accepted but valued as parts or recycling.
A homogeneous fleet of the same model and spec is easier to process and resell. Mixed fleets are accepted, but uniform batches typically attract a premium.
Larger fleets benefit from processing efficiencies that are reflected in the per-unit buyback price. This is the core advantage of bulk over piecemeal selling.
Email or upload a spreadsheet with model, quantity, age, and approximate condition. A rough list is fine. We will confirm details after a sample inspection if needed.
Within two business days, we return a per-unit and total fleet price. The price is guaranteed: it will not change at collection unless the devices are materially different from the list provided.
Our team collects from your premises at a time that works for your IT schedule. For multi-site fleets, we coordinate a staged collection plan. Free collection for business volumes in the Sydney metropolitan area. National collections for qualifying fleet sizes.
Every device is sanitised to NIST 800-88 guidelines under our ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified management system. You receive an individual Certificate of Data Destruction per serial number. Devices assessed for resale are refurbished. End-of-life units are directed to certified downstream processors for materials recovery.
Payment of the agreed amount with no deductions. You also receive a Certificate of Recycling and a consolidated asset report covering the disposition of every device by serial number.
A bulk laptop buyback creates a concentrated data risk. Every device in the fleet carries user files, cached credentials, browser sessions, and potentially regulated personal information. The OAIC reported 1,113 notifiable data breaches in Australia in CY2024, with 25 linked directly to devices: theft, loss, or insecure disposal. Privacy Act 1988 penalties start at $50 million or more.
ITC's data destruction process is designed for exactly this scenario. Every laptop in the fleet is sanitised to NIST 800-88 guidelines before it is assessed for resale or recycling. The process runs under our ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified information security management system. You receive an individual Certificate of Data Destruction for each serial number, not a batch certificate covering the lot.
A batch certificate says "we processed some devices". A per-serial certificate says "this specific device, identified by this serial number, was sanitised on this date using this method". When a compliance team or auditor asks for evidence, the second document answers the question. The first creates another one.

The standard corporate laptop lifecycle. At three years, business laptops hold the strongest residual value. ITC can align collection with your new device rollout so outgoing laptops leave as incoming ones arrive.
Leased laptop fleets returned at contract end need documented data sanitisation and a clear chain of custody before devices go back to the lessor or to a new disposition channel. ITC handles both paths.
Moving premises creates an opportunity to clear accumulated IT equipment. A bulk buyback before the move reduces logistics costs and generates revenue from devices that would otherwise sit in a shipping container.
Schools and universities cycle student and staff laptop fleets regularly. Chromebook AUE dates, warranty expirations, and academic calendar alignment all affect timing and value. ITC processes education fleet volumes routinely.
ITC Asset Management operates from Unit 25, 16 Loyalty Road, North Rocks NSW 2151. Bulk laptop collections across the Sydney metropolitan area, including Greater Western Sydney, the Northern Beaches, and the Sutherland Shire, are free for business volumes.
For fleet-scale engagements outside Sydney, our team flies to Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Darwin, and Hobart. National collections are coordinated as a single project: one valuation, one collection schedule, one consolidated report.
ITC processes bulk laptop buybacks from 20 devices upward. There is no upper limit. Smaller quantities are accepted but are processed as standard equipment sales rather than fleet buyback engagements.
Sydney metropolitan collections are typically scheduled within five business days of accepting the valuation. National collections are coordinated based on fleet size and site locations, usually within two weeks of confirmation.
Yes. Non-functional laptops are accepted as part of a bulk engagement. Working devices are assessed for resale and return higher per-unit value. Non-working devices are sanitised and directed to certified downstream processors for materials recovery.
Yes. ITC regularly coordinates collection timing with incoming device deployments so the transition happens in a single window. This is standard practice for three-year refresh cycles and end-of-lease returns.
You receive three documents: a per-serial-number Certificate of Data Destruction confirming NIST 800-88 compliant sanitisation, a Certificate of Recycling for end-of-life devices, and a consolidated asset disposition report covering the outcome for every device by serial number.
ITC buys both. Mixed fleets containing different brands, models, and ages are processed as a single engagement. Uniform batches of the same model and specification typically attract a per-unit premium because they are more efficient to process and resell.
Every laptop is sanitised to NIST 800-88 guidelines under ITC's ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified information security management system. Data sanitisation occurs before any device is assessed for resale or recycling. You receive an individual Certificate of Data Destruction per serial number, linked to a documented chain of custody from collection through to final disposition.
After data sanitisation, end-of-life laptops are processed in line with AS/NZS 5377 and directed to certified downstream processors for materials recovery. ITC operates under ISO 14001:2015 environmental management certification, and you receive a Certificate of Recycling covering every device in the batch.
