Every data-bearing device is individually processed and you receive a Certificate of Data Destruction with serial numbers and erasure verification. Our facility is secured with 24/7 monitoring and access controls.
What is a Certificate of Data Destruction?
A Certificate of Data Destruction is a legal document that verifies your data has been irreversibly destroyed. Each certificate includes the device serial number, make and model, destruction method used, date of destruction, and verification that the process met NIST 800-88 standards. This documentation protects your organization from data breach liability and satisfies compliance requirements for audits.
What happens to our old equipment?
After data destruction, equipment follows one of two paths: devices with remaining useful life are professionally refurbished and remarketed through our established channels, extending their lifecycle and reducing e-waste. Equipment that cannot be refurbished is processed through certified recycling partners who recover valuable materials (precious metals, plastics, etc.) with zero waste to landfill.
Why do you require a minimum of 10 items?
The 10-item minimum allows us to offset the costs of secure collection, transport, processing, and certification. For smaller quantities, we still offer competitive rates well below industry average.
